Tuesday, March 07, 2006 The Pitch: It's like The Handmaid's Tale meets A Modest Proposal. So. You probably know this but South Dakota outlawed abortion today. I guess I knew something like this would be coming sooner or later, but still.You may not know this but a blogger posted a detailed description of how to safely perform an abortion. I think doing so was incredibly brave, and it was fascinating to see how people reacted--why is just knowledge, simple knowledge, enough to instill fear? I ask because reading it scared me, too.
